About the Iowa UNA
The Iowa UNA is a grassroots organization that promotes the United States’ constructive involvement in the United Nations and in the global community. The Iowa UNA is an affiliate of the UNA-USA and to chapters across Iowa.
The Iowa UNA helps to support chapters in Iowa, nominates an annual UN Day Chair, and holds regular programming including a UN Day Celebration, annual International Women's Month celebrations in March and more. The Iowa UNA sends students and members to UN conferences. The Iowa UNA also helps to support the Iowa High School Model United Nations and the Youth Symposium held annually in the state capital.
The Iowa UNA is supported by its members and private donors.
The Iowa UNA (also know as the UNA-USA Iowa Division) has an office located in Iowa City.
